John Bissell

John Bissell has worked in land use, transportation and environmental planning for more than 20 years. Mr. Bissell has worked for builders, private consultants, rural and urban planning departments in two states and worked for the Army Corps of Engineers in the Sacramento District. He also has owned and operated private businesses providing consultation, designing and project management to cities, counties and private developers.

His experience includes urban planning, rural planning, community design, development project design, transportation planning, water resource planning, and entitlement acquisition. He has a bachelor’s degree in geography from Humboldt State University. Mr. Bissell has received certification from the American Institute of Certified Planners.
